I’m joining in Yarn Along this week hosted by Ginny of Small Things. It’s the chance for us who love knitting and reading to share what project is currently on our needles and which book we have our noses buried in.
Knitting: This week I decided to share all the knitting projects I’ve got on my needles. What can I say? Autumn is on the air and I’ve got knitting fever. In truth, it’s not as impressive as it seems. Some of them have been hibernating for a while and will stay tucked away for a bit longer (or until I get the courage to attempt the fingers on that glove!) Mainly I’m working on my Levenwick (bottom left, next to the flowers) and now September’s hat for the 12 Hats in One Year Challenge (little gray one in the top right corner.) You can see all these projects specifically at my Ravelry page (some might not be public so only logged-in Ravelry members will see all of them.)
Reading: Still reading Full Moon Feast: Food and the Hunger for Connection. It’s living up to my expectations. I highly recommend it.
Listening: I seem to be listening to a lot of Cold War Kids, particiularly “Jailbirds”, “Out of the Wilderness” and “Every Man I Fall For.” Though, soon I’m hoping to get Neko Case’s new album. If it’s as good as her last album, I will no doubt be listening to it obsessively.
What are you knitting/crocheting, reading or listening to this week?
