I’ve decided to aim for six simple goals for March, noted above. If all goes well, I may create goals for each month.
This is the cardigan I speak of. (And thank you all so much for all the wonderful suggestions and sweet comments regarding Wednesday’s post about the cardigan.) These are the potholders and these are the dish scrubbies I want to make. As for my meat dish: I’m thinking of something along the lines of the broiled sole recipe they featured on the Today show but with flounder. As a newly converted omnivore, I’m a total newbie to cooking meats—especially fish. Have any simple but tasty suggestions for a flounder or pork dish?
Do you have any goals or plans for March?

I make a slow-cooker cranberry pulled pork (a dutch oven on a low oven temp will also work) . I season a picnic roast with salt, pepper, and cloves, then spread cranberry sauce across the top of the roast. Low in the slow cooker for 6-8 hours, then shred. it is great with quinoa and spinach salad.

What a great list. And congrats on your recent omnivority. ( that’s definitely not a real word…) I make an easy pork dish with roasted apple and onions and thyme. I’m emailing it to you!

I went sugar free nearly 3 weeks ago. It is fantastic. Be gentle with your body though. I found I felt a little off for a few days due to sugar withdrawal but now I couldn’t be better. :)

I’ve been wanting to quit added sugars for a while. I have a vague hope that it will improve my skin (I get a bit of acne and redness), as some people say that it helps. I just have trouble with the cravings! Good luck on your quest!
