Every week, I try to join in Gratitude Sunday with Taryn and others over at Wooly Moss Roots. We take the time to acknowledge all the things (big and small) that we were most grateful for in the past week.
This week I’m grateful:
that there has been enough snow to keep the ground white but not enough to disrupt traveling plans.
for those awesome, clear blue skies.
that the wood-look porcelain tile is down on the bathroom floor and looks lovely.
that a lot of the small things are falling into place and going smoothly. (Makes the chaos of the big things a little less overwhelming.)
for people out there who work so hard for others.
for the winter walks. (And sometimes leaving the camera home.)
that we ordered seeds.
that I learned to knit an i-cord. (And relieved it’s so simple!)
for reconciliation.
that this month (actually, this very day) marks four years ago that I broke a very unhealthy habit.
that a bit of welcome relief came to our home.
And how it’s brightened our spirits and taken a bit of weight off our backs.
for late night talks.
for a bit of change this week–not enough to shake things up but enough to keep life interesting.
for a mini-mock-vacation.
and finally, for recognizing and acknowledging some of my recent rude behavior, where it stems from and now hoping for the willingness to fix it and avoid it in the future.
What are YOU grateful for this week?

I love reading these posts as it always grounds me. Lately I’ve done nothing but complain about the cold and the weather. I love your way of looking at it, and am also grateful that we are nearing spring, and that it will come eventually.
