It’s been quite a while since I’ve shared a weekly finds post. Here are a few of the things that are piquing my interest lately.
(Above is a photo of the thermometer this evening, just after the sun finally left the sky. The other day it didn’t get above 16F/-9C and at night it went down to 3F/-16C with an even lower wind chill. Luckily it looks like we are heading for a rise in temperature this coming week. If we didn’t have snow on the ground to pretty things up, I’m sure I’d hate winter.)
Anyone else watching Season 3 of Downton Abbey?
Finally watched (and loved) Moonrise Kingdom. I think I’ve borrowed it from the library three times but still never had a chance to watch it until now.
I also borrowed The Dust Bowl and highly recommend checking it out.
I know I’ve shared the link to The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows before but it’s worth another mention. The most recent is worth reading.
Came across this lovely knit via this post on Tina’s blog.
One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite songs.
True.
Some good advice, even for gals in front of the camera.
What have you been finding and enjoying lately?

I liked Moonrise Kingdom too; I’m a huge Wes Anderson fan. =)

I keep wanting to see Moonrise Kingdom so badly! I absolutely love Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr Fox! Those knitting patterns are far too advanced for me, but are lovely all the same. And I too adore Downton. There is nothing quite like a period drama and a cup of tea. I’ve been enjoying reading lately. I stayed up late reading ‘Perks of a Wallflower’. It’s fantastic! After that, I hope to read Gone Girl. I am also addicted to knitting. In fact, I’ve hurt my wrist doing so much! Haha! Have a lovely week. Adore your blog! X
