Last January, I wanted to practice both knitting in the round and cables, so I gave this hat pattern a go. As you can see by the photo in this post, I was only a few rows from completing it before I shoved it aside. I didn’t have the right needles to complete it. But since I got the set from Knit Picks for Christmas this year, I was able to finish it (only taking about three minutes of my time.)
Honestly, I’m not much of a hat person. I’d like to be, I think they are lovely. I guess I just tend to forget about them when heading out the door. Hopefully a new hat will change that.
Hat.

Lovely! I enjoy cables….I like putting them into fingerless mitts, and other projects!
Great job — now, put your hat on when you go out in the cold! :)

It’s lovely! I can never seem to get my hats to slouch the way I’d like (like yours). Only 3 minutes!? That’s awesome! I’ll bet that was pretty exciting when you completed it so quickly. :)
I’m not much of a hat person either, mostly because I don’t like how they look on my head. But I’m beginning to learn that its a matter of how one styles their hair AND the hat (position) to compliment each other. Just a thought.
Great job!

I really want to be a hat person too! I’ve never though they looked good on me but last month my aunt’s mom knit a hat for me and I wear it constantly! I really need to figure out how to knit a hat so I can make more.
I really like your hat, it looks so good on you!
