I know I said I was pretty much done with the Garden posts for the season, but I just can’t help but capture and share that golden autumn light.
The garden is still producing (peppers!) but slowly it’s getting cleaned out as things die. (Many of those gourds will be dried and turned into birdhouses to sell. My Dad even wants to try making some gourd lamps.)

Love that golden light…we’ve talked about growing gourds and making houses for the purple martins. Hope if he makes some you will post pictures!

I just celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving last night and this post seems so fitting. Just as the last few things come out of the garden we sit down to celebrate a good harvest and prepare for the winter ahead. Fall really is the prettiest time of year.
