In the spirit of giving, I have another giveaway for you all. This time it is only for folks with a US address seeing as the box weighs something like 6 pounds. Six pounds of what, you ask? Fashion fabric scraps! There are some silks, wools, cottons but mostly synthetics and synthetic blends. The photo above is just the tip of the iceberg.

oooh my favorite thing this time of year is hanging with family…I alos love going to see the Live Nativity at the church and driving around looking at Christmas light…which we did both last night…happy Holidays!

Ooh what a great giveaway! I have so many favorite things about this time of year, but one of the big ones is definitely baking all sorts of cookies to give to family and friends!

I never can seem to describe it, but there’s this wonderful feeling in the air around Christmas time! Everything just feels more happy, hopeful and joyous! I also love making crafts, knitting, and sewing for the holidays.

I love making gifts, baking for friends and family, and spending time snuggled in our cozy house with my kiddos and hubby, but the thing I love most about the holiday season is how different people are or behave. It’s nice to see so many people that wouldn’t give someone the time of day, get caught up in the magical spirit of the season and touch someone’s life.

My favorite part about this time of the year is that we get to see almost, if not all of our boys come back home. And one of them bring our 2 Grandchildren with which is an even nicer treat.
Of course, this is the time of the year too that I can do all my favorite baking and candy making that I reserve just for the holidays AND rarely do I hear “oh I am on a diet” as friends take just one more goodie.

I love how Christmas transforms everyone and how the spirit of goodwill seems so much stronger at this time of year. I also love the excitement of my daughter’s at everything related to Christmas…they expecially love the Christmas lights at night!
